Introduction of SAP BTP Integration Suite
To begin with, we would like to introduce you to a product for enterprise integration, which is currently the number one product in this area for us.
SAP Integration Suite belongs to the SAP portfolio and is built on the SAP BTP (SAP Business Technology Platform). This product is a cloud-based enterprise integration platform that is delivered as a service (EiPaaS). The main advantage is that it allows you to connect applications and processes quickly, easily and securely. Unlike solutions that are installed “in house” at the client’s site on their internal IT infrastructure, the Cloud version has several advantages. You don’t have to worry about purchasing servers, operations, maintenance, or backups with all functions being contracted out. Just choose the most convenient location on the world map and you have a system running 24/7.
As it is a Cloud product, the customer only pays for its rental for a certain period, typically with a 2 or 3 year commitment. There are currently 3 versions of the product available – BASIC, STANDARD and PREMIUM. Even the lowest version can do what current traditional integration products from reputable manufacturers can do.
You can get started very quickly with this cloud solution, plus the price of the basic version is very reasonable. Thanks to its features and price, it is a solution that can be the center of digitalization of every medium-sized enterprise in Slovakia. Each higher version includes more functionality, more subscribed data or more environments, which of course increases the price itself. However, we are already talking about a product that can operate securely and reliably the exchange of enterprise data even for the largest companies in the world. The quality of the product is also evidenced by its placement in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant in the “Enterprise Integration Platform-as-a-Service” category.
If you would like to try a product, you can activate the free version. For commercial use, you already need to purchase the product, which we will be happy to help you with. In the next posts we will explain in more detail how to get started with Cloud integration and we are also happy to share real experiences with Cloud products.
